I really wanted to use this engine and box in a project car, but space is getting tight so this is now for sale.
12A turbo engine (165hp) complete with low compression rotors (8.5:1), larger volume oil pump, Hitachi turbo, fuel injection, turbo oil drain in front cover, boost retarding distributor, direct oil injection through the housings (similar to FC design).
Comes with all sensors, coils, leads, complete loom and computers, air box and all piping.
No radiator or oil cooler but these are the same as S3 radiator and S2 front mount oil cooler.
Can throw in a S3 rear counterweight if needed.
12A turbo gearbox (significantly stronger box)
Turbo ratios are: 1st: 3.622, 2nd: 2.186, 3rd: 1.419, 4th: 1.000, 5th: 0.791
UK FB ratios are: 1st: 3.674, 2nd: 2.217, 3rd: 1.432, 4th: 1.000, 5th: 0.825

Turbo - HT18S-BM
No oil showing in the inlet or outlet, top hat, manifold etc. No apparent damage and no play in the bearings.







The turbo manifold - N253
No cracks and the gaskets are all intact and in good condition.



The block
Has comp on all 6 faces. All apex seals are intact. Engine is complete and unopened. Can be front or side mounted from centre iron (as in HB Cosmo). Comes complete from fan to clutch.
I oiled it when i got it so pics may look oily.

The gearbox
It's a S3 gearbox with a S4 style bellhousing (extra vents) and better gear ratios and stronger. This will bolt to any 12A.
