Right, stoooopid question of the munf time. Are all slave cyliders the same across all First Gens? Or different S1, 2 or 3?

Or, to simplify it, will this kiddie http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300719644030? ... 1423.l2649 fit my S3? Seems cheap.... in a Hollywood sorta "it's quiet...too quiet" kinda way

I think the s1 slaves are slightly different but that one looks good for your s3..... and it's double cheap at that price.

S3 uses the later fine pitch thread. S1 and S2 use the early coarse pitch thread which is getting harder and harder to find hoses for.

Those cheap slaves on eBay recently were fine pitch thread.

RESpeed does adaptors. I still have a box full of early coarse thread hoses if people need any.

I've also got a brand new one clutch slave, boxed, with boot and actuator; "Wagner Brake" brand (made in Italy, so it travels well ).

I got it last year when ordering some spares for Kimi. I ordered two clutch slaves as they were so cheap c.f. the shipping costs. PM me if interested. I know it fits an S2 clutch housing OK as it sorted out our "pedal to the floor and stay there" problem

Rock Auto will supply a Clutch Master Cylinder, £39.50 inc post and VAT.

I have used Rock Auto quite a bit, they are good value and deliver quickly.

The one I have was sourced from Rockauto; available for £22 + postage. Rockauto is great, but the shipping cost is a killer on cheaper parts (but still works out cheaper than Mazda OEM most times!)
