what up everyone,
I wan't to thank the admin team for the approval, and to introduce myself. I'm from New Bedford, Massachusettes, USA and I've been into Rotaries for about 18yrs now. I recently purchased a 1985 gsl-se with 73800 mi on it which I named "la Chiga" which mean "my mistress" in spanish -lol my wife get a kick out it. I'm a picky person and around my area classic rotaries are rare, so when the opportunity came up I was all over it. I'm also glad theirs forums like this that we can be members of, and that if we have questions, we can come here and get answers. So, Hi to all and check out my ride that I hope that it posted right and if not - please feel free on giving my instrution.

I want to confirm that I did it right
If I haven't all ready said it , I want to say hello to everyone. I tried to post my introduction earier buy I'm unsure if it even posted, but if it didn't then this is going to sound like a broken record. My name is Benny, I'm from the South Coast, Massachusetts,USA. I always had a passion for cars, but ever since the 1st time I seen a Rx7 blowing the doors off a V8 equipped with nitros, I knew I had to have one. And, when I understood that Rx7s were rotaries and not a piston car, I wanted it that much more. I felt that it fit my personalty (different) I love the engineering that went into the car. About 3 months ago I purchased a 1985 gsl-se with 73800 origial miles that I now call "me chiga" which means " my mistress" in spanish -- lol. I also installed 18 inch shoes staggered and lower the backend about a inch. I tried attaching a pic in this post so people can check it out and comment. if it didn't, please feel to instruct me. To the admin team, thank you for the approval.

Thanks,
Its a stainless steel cover that makes it look like a targa top, its only purpose is to dress the car up.
Thanks again

Nice RX7. Smooth original lines and massive wheels is very "aus style".

Welcome along. Nice car, love the colour
. I was going to say that dress panel on the B-pillar is reminiscent of the old air-cooled Targa 911s, but MR TOOL already beat me to it. Unusual look

Re: I want to confirm that I did it right
I'm unsure who makes it. but speaking with a couple of people, this piece was an option from the factory to dress the car up. Its give the car that targa look. I wish it was true but no Rx7's pre-1986 were builded with a true targa top. If I come across one I'll buy it then post it on site for sale.
heres another pic. for all, enjoy
