It's not been on the road long up there Spod. Only a couple of winters I guess.

Don't suppose a rear wiper is too much to ask on the blue 'low miler'?

Front wipers badly rusted on a 29000 mile car, hmmm.

Age makes ya cynical.

Why would paint 'blister' on the bonnet?

In the case of the first FD I bought, it was because the guy I bought it from's neighbour hated him so much he took a hammer to the bonnet. I realise that's not the most common reason paint bubbles on bonnets though

Usually a reaction, when water gets in. Sometimes after a paintjob, and a stint in the oven, a previous problem raises it's head, and causes yet another paint job :(

Covers can be the worst thing, if they are not fully breathable, as the moisture has nowhere to go, and gets into the paint...and under it. It then blisters up when it gets drawn out.

Sometimes, a car will blister in cold damp weather, and be fine on a hot day...only to come back next time it's cold again.

tell me about it, i got my mx3 resprayed a number of years back and i've seen more bubbles and blisters and problems than when it went in
i have ended up using a pin to make a small hole in the blister and then gently push down on it with my finger and watch a little jet of water come out lol.
then dry it as best i can and a small touch up to seal the hole.

i even seen a few on the rear arches of my rx8. mazda did a recall and covered the respray etc and i got it stone chipped too, but still you get them.
