Finally, I've found my Elford and sent the deposit. Now the problem is the shipment....
I've found a local that do the travel, but it could put on the smal artic, only 4.30m longer. The FB is, without the front spoiler, 4.27m I think, or nearly.
So I think, also to protect the front spoiler/lip, to remove the 2 bumper: it's difficult to do? Any info also for the dimension without them?
Thanks a lot!

Re: Remove the bumper (front and rear)
overall removing the rear and front bumper you will prob save around 20-30cm in length i would think.

Re: Remove the bumper (front and rear)
Hi Davide,
the Elford front spoiler is very difficult to remove..... it's a well engineered piece of bodywork and has many fixing bolts plus a bead of silicon sealant across the top. You can remove it but it isn't an easy job....... it bolts to the grill, the front wings, the bumper mounts and the engine undertray and all of these fixings will probably be rusty.
The rear bumper is just the standard stock Mazda bumper but the Elford rear spoiler/wing is even harder to remove than the front spoiler.... it bolts through the rear deck and you need fingers like ET to access the nuts. It is also siliconed into place. You would also need to remove the rear lights to have any chance of getting at the nuts.
Which Elford did you buy in the end?.... I know you've been looking for one for ages!

Re: Remove the bumper (front and rear)
Thanks Ian
Maybe I need just to remove the rear, if the lenght will be enough...
I remember you had a blog with the foto of your car, have you the link?
Ps: the Elford, with all in the maximn (example, also the muffler if it's the most external part) how much is longer?
It's a surprise, for sure
until is here, I will post immediatly, promise
Hope all goes fine, is very far from here (italy) and in a place that just few courier arrive...
