if this elford is like the first day underneath or very close to it then with the very low miles it would be worth a good price.
compared to the scottish one 10 grand is a better step in the right direction, but i agree, 10 grand is an awful lot for an fb.

quick question about engine misfires, what can cause them? or is there a post about them on here, to help a friend out please.

here's the pair of series 1 cars that Hayward was trying to flog for £500 on FDUK a couple of weeks ago.
Don't know anything about the car on the left but the other one, HCK527W, I've known for the last 15 years and it's a complete basket case.

I'd suspect that of being some kind of scam from Hayward. He refused to answer questions as to their condition, or provide any more pics, maybe he was hoping someone would pay far more than they were worth...or maybe he realised that the perfect marketplace to rip people off is eBay and that's why they're now up there. Still in Reading area, so they've not gone far from him. If they've gone at all Cynical? Moi?

I cured a misfire by changing the water pump which was weeping from the gland. No misfire now, but of course there could be many other reasons.
