if this elford is like the first day underneath or very close to it then with the very low miles it would be worth a good price.
compared to the scottish one 10 grand is a better step in the right direction, but i agree, 10 grand is an awful lot for an fb.
it looks great though, me likey
quick question about engine misfires, what can cause them? or is there a post about them on here, to help a friend out please.
here's the pair of series 1 cars that Hayward was trying to flog for £500 on FDUK a couple of weeks ago.
Don't know anything about the car on the left but the other one, HCK527W, I've known for the last 15 years and it's a complete basket case.
Description:
Welcome to my auction for two rx7 1st generation series 1. spares or repairs, would be good project as could make one good car out of the 2. one has an engine and all running gear all is moving well enigne turns but doesn't start, has no spark on the trailing and has got old fuel in. the other has no engine but has gearbox and rest of running gear but is missing stuff. brought hoping to make a good car but have other commitments and no time and don't want them to rot on my drive, they have been dry stored until bringing them to my house. viewing is welcome, the cars are in the RG7 area, any questions just ask. phone Bradley on 07769340984 or Dean on 07720104394. Both cars will need to be trailed away as have no tax or MOT, the cars are 31 years old and are not new as you could imagine. Cash on Collection
I'd suspect that of being some kind of scam from Hayward. He refused to answer questions as to their condition, or provide any more pics, maybe he was hoping someone would pay far more than they were worth...or maybe he realised that the perfect marketplace to rip people off is eBay and that's why they're now up there. Still in Reading area, so they've not gone far from him. If they've gone at all Cynical? Moi?

cheers
I cured a misfire by changing the water pump which was weeping from the gland. No misfire now, but of course there could be many other reasons.
