Different thread pitches. S2 is coarse and S3 is fine. 1.25 vs 1.0 from memory.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

Reliable with the info as ever Andrew, thanks.

The length should be the same though?

I have a new set of S2 flexi's but need a S/S set for an S3 (poss with FC hub, discs etc) and just thought i might be able to use the S2 set as a pattern.

Perhaps I should have explained that !

check online like car builder solutions or one of the rally shops like jjc race cars and see if they have a M10x1.25 to M10x1.0 adapter..

you may be able to get them and use them Derek...

As for the FC they are 1.0 pitch

Can someone confirm that? I thought the S1 used 1.25mm pitch but the S2 and S3 both used 1.0mm? Important as one of the jobs on my list is to remake the hard brake lines on the rear (S2) axle of Kimi!
