Thanks lucky, it does pick up ever so slightly at about that range, im not sure if im just being hyper critical! !

Think im going to try and video the tacho and compare it to any other videos I can find...

The car car can pop and bang so theres no shortage of fuel!

The secondaries are vacuum operated so it should rev smoothly, but the opening will be perceptible if you are looking out for it.

If the secondaries are sticky, that would delay the opening and highten the feeling of the kick, same goes for setting up mechanical operation of the secondaries - this is becuase that you actually loose power from under 3k rpm on full throttle, and gain power from there until where the secondaries would normally be fully open - 4.5-5krpm at Lucky stated. The lower then higher power would certainly accelerate the feeling of a kick due to the power ramp 3-4.5k compared to stock.

Think the cars probably just fine and im looking for more than the cars got due to being more used to turbo rotaries and big engined modern cars...

So after a wash and polish I thought id post up some of the work I'll be needing to do on the cars bodywork. Its certainly not bad overall, but some thoughts and opinions on the bits that require attention, maybe some pointers would help

This is the worst bit, the rust is on the offside behind the bump strip..
Also the headlight wont sit flush, I've reset it using the arm inside the bay but it just wont retract that last few mm.

Also a bit of rust starting on the sunroof...

The mazda badges have been swaped for non standard items

And finally one of the rear light cobvers appears to be slightly smoked and the other clear, not sure how clear that is in the photos though.

Photos of the rear... oh ideally the GB sticker to go too...

Thermal reactor still fitted? This will choke the life out of it. Huge gains to be made fitting headers.

Yep the cars about as standard as you could ever get. Which I really like, not sure whether to fit an exhaust, electric fan and carb or keep it original....
