Ah, I think I've misunderstood something. The original DBH 897X was Silver yeh? That car's been scrapped and the running gear transferred to the red car, which had seperately been sold into Aus by Mazda?
Is that right?

Hi all, it's been a long time coming but finally ELFORD is back in running order and ready for roadworthy ( Aus MOT) still had excessive smoke on start up so pulled turbo off to check And rebuild, on removal found oil 1/2 a cupful coming out of exhaust ports, thought it was turbo seals leaking and draining into exhaust manifold, so rebuilt turbo, still smoking badly, decided to remove and strip engine, upon inspection apex seals were at 7.2 mm apex springs more or less flat, side oil seals and control rings and seals shot, housings all ok and found it had r5 plates, rebuilt with new genuine parts except I put the turbo apex seals in, started up no smoke!!! Yippee I now have a car I can use regularly, will post some fresh photos soon
