TBH Ian, I've not really noticed much difference in those respects so far. Still a great car to drive and very comfortable :D

I then decided to spend a few hours with Aston at Essex Rotary yesterday, going over a number of checks and routine maintenance.......

7. .....spent a lot of time trying to diagnose a squeak/rubbing noise, seemingly from the rear, which only manifests on left hand turns. We were unable to reach a conclusion. Possibly wear on a wheel bearing, but it didn't sound quite like it, possibly a bushing, as they were all looking pretty tired. Anyone else experienced anything like this and any other ideas??
Yippee, this item now sorted!. Just been out on a test drive and the spare rear driver's side caliper that Ian kindly loaned me has fixed this issue  A badly seized piston was the cause of the problem. Caliper will be off to Biggred on Monday for a refurb.

Glad you found the issue Malcolm, I did say it sounded rotational, Maybe that slight play in the wheel bearing was causing it to rub on the brake rotor on left cornering.

^^Yep, it wasn't obvious as to the cause, but the very slight play you spotted in the wheel bearing was enough for the disk to rub on the inside lower part of the pad. The uneven wear was the further clue as to what was going on.

Pleased that issue is "ticked off" now

Refurbed caliper back from BiggRed, £107.40 inc VAT and shipping to me, using their premium paint finish (rust prohibitor, two paint coats and oven cured). Very pleased with the visual quality and the fact all the rubber items have been supplied too.

I refurbed the carrier using VHT silver paint from a rattle can I had lying around. Not a perfect match, but a heck of a lot better than where they started!
