25th London to Brighton Classic Car Run – 2nd June 2013

Anyone up for this?? I know that I have this particular weekend off so I'm quite keen. Anything over 25 years old (Codge??) is considered a 'classic' for this event. I'd quite like to provide a rotary presence this year. Anyways here is the link.....

I'm up for a bit of this, might have to use the art of bribery in the name of a Saturday night in London for the missus and sell it as a nice coastal drive back home via Ramo's man cave though.

Now I know this is still some way off but I have just downloaded the entry form and see that ENTRIES CLOSE ON 24 MAY 2013

Also, there is a choice of route, either 60 miles or 100 miles, the former in sympathy of thirstier vehicles. Both start and finish in the same place.

New - This year we have two run options for the classics, a short run approx. 60 miles for the thirstier or older vehicles which will be stopping at the beautiful National Trust Sheffield Park and Garden or a longer run of approx.100 miles to the historic village of Chiddingstone and Chiddingstone Castle in Kent. Whichever run you choose a VIP welcome awaits you with free entry to both venues.

Any preference at this stage?? I'm quite liking castles actually cos there aint too many back home.

I love castles, lol. Sadly, I don't love the rate at which my car is progressing. Or not, as the case actually is I honestly don't know if it's going to be ready and I don't think I'll be welcome in the FD. Might have to beg off
