Help With Front Springs on 1985 FB

Post by 85rxCh7ven »

Hi Guys,
Wondering if any one can help me out here? I have an 1985 Rx7. I did an engine swap to a modded SBC 350. That being said, as my lock has it one of the front springs is shot/broke. With out trying to build my own front coil over spring set, does any one know where I can get a set of original length front springs that are rated at 225? I need the height as it needs to sit higher? As they have that weird pear shape, I am running into issues.

ANy advice will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah, thread is13 months dead. But I had a similar issue. Considered modifying coilover coils, but that's costly. Tried to buy just the fronts from Racing Beat, but they're jerks. I studied Moog's master list, and am hoping to make the 5661 work. Ordered a pair, at $ 40 / pr, delivered, but won't arrive until January. They're 162 pounds per inch. Check my build thread for results good or bad.
