Rotary lada from Moscow
Hi everyone! I'm Alexander from Moscow and I own a lada 21059 - a very rare modification of lada 2105 also known as lada riva in UK... My car has original engine that is very similar to 1st gen Mazda engine... In stock version it has 140bhp and mine is ported, has 2 vertical webers and straight exhaust on 63mm pipe...(very very loud:)) and last Dino run showed 213bhp. I like your forum because it has many interesting original technical information, and many many beautiful old school rotary mazdas))

That sounds wicked, my mum had one years ago as a daily hack and it was strangely amusing to drive.

Hi Alexander & Welcome,
Looks like you have put a lot of work into the rebuild, I am amazed how much Design & Development VAZ (Lada/Volga) have done on the Rotary Engine, even developing a 4 Rotor for military Vehicles & Aircraft

I have been reading all about them on this site:
http://cp_www.tripod.com/rotary/pg07.htm
Regards Pete
