TII rear brakes - dual bleed nipples- Why?

Any idea? what's the point? :?

I am guessing it was for the optional ABS (only available on TIIs) as I believe it was a quite often a dual system in the early days of ABS

my car hasn't got abs :?

I am guessing they used the same calipers on all S5 TIIs
