I’m replacing all the hoses and have managed to find replacements for all hoses apart from N231-15-540B
If anyone has any spare ones or any leads , please do let me know.

Hey all.. in the process of refurbishing the engine bay..
I’m replacing all the hoses and have managed to find replacements for all hoses apart from N231-15-540B
If anyone has any spare ones or any leads , please do let me know.

Yea all sorted so far!.. hopefully it all turns up.. It was around £300 for all the hoses .. more than I wanted to spend. But I wanted to avoid universal hoses! Hopefully these last another 40 years

Just a reference for anyone looking at replacing the various hoses
Took me a little while to find stock of them so here’s a guide for a finding replacements
9954-10-1601 - O-Rings used for beehive oil cooler. 4 required. Mazda only had 1 but Mazdatrix had a full set available for $7.40 per O-ring.. Viton can be used apparently but I’d rather use Mazda parts if they’re still obtainable.
N231-15-511 - Lower radiator hose. Mazda had in stock for £23.96 (only 4 available in Europe)
N231-15-521C - Upper radiator hose not available from Mazda. I ended up ordering a set of upper and lower hoses from Essex Rotary as they weren’t sold individually. This was £73.55 inc postage
8871-61-212 - available from Mazda for £17.40 (only 2 available in Europe)
FA42-61-213A - only available as back order from Mazda with no ETA for £18.32 or available from Mazdatrix for $14.84
N231-15-550 - Available from Mazda for £58.94 (only 2 available in Europe)
N231-15-530A - only available as back order from Mazda with no ETA for £20.89 or available from Mazdatrix for $26.54
N231-15-540B - not available from Mazda and I only got lucky finding a NOS replacement from Australia for £68.51 from Phil’s. Iv not been able to find a replacement from anywhere else
I backordered the hoses that could be back ordered from Mazda. But I may never see the orders fulfilled.
Might be a case that universal hoses are the only way forward .. or seeing if these can be obtained from Japan or the US from the dealer
