Have you looked at Ian's post in Electrics titled What goes up must come down?
Also, turn your ignition off and operate the stalk back and forth a bunch of times. This has worked for me before, it clears corrosion from the contacts.
I suspect it could ultimately be a relay issue though.

Three more nights at work and then I'm back on this. Get the brakes doing brake things properly and then MOT.

Re: S3 front caliper slider pin boots
Thnx man. I've been speaking with Pete about this as well. Your pic is the best view yet. I guess I'll look for a similar type of grommet to fit. I can always add a pinhole if needed.

Re: S3 front caliper slider pin boots
Hi Victor. Could you post a pic of your setup, just so I have an idea of what to look for? No hurry, just when and if you can (or anyone reading this).
The calipers were sent to them with the old boots attached so I have nothing to reference.

You can see the end of the slider pin! IMG_20250625_144721.jpg Does anyone know where I can get the proper boot or a work around? Brake...

Re: S3 front caliper slider pin boots
Hi Jesse I found a thread on here. I can actually use EP3 Civic Type R rear slider boots. Bigg Red were also very helpful. I can buy the Civic Type R rear kit (bolts, pins and boots) from them. They also do one for the RX but only a complete kit including pistons and seals etc. Hope your are well, m...

S3 front caliper slider pin boots
Does anyone know of a source for these?
My calipers are away being refurbed and the company is struggling to find a pair.
Any help much appreciated.
Thnx
Dave.
