Ian's reply look on RX7fb.com!!!

I,m off to hug what's left of the berlin wall tomorrow, back 20th sep,bet he's found it by then!
Anyone see that programme 2 weeks ago where that US women loves the berlin wall soooo much, she's got a piece of it she kisses & takes to bed with her every night!
She said everyone despised that wall[err for good reason!] & it needs some one to show it some love, does she not know about it's history & why the wall was put there?
cheerio stu.

Re: just seen this...
Morning all,
My name is Simon and Yes its true I own GTB 744V, the white one at the end of this thread. Well the white and orange one
there is a lot of rust but from what I can tell relatively solid so I am diving in at the deep end for my first rotary project. Its been interesting reading your thoughts on the project. When I first got the car I was confused as it didn't have the metal bumpers I had read about but now it becomes clear. I shall begin hunting down the correct bumpers and trying to get the car back to original as far as practicable, but thinking about respraying the car in mazda blue as I am not such a fan of white.
However first things first is a complete strip down and rebuild including the engine which is a 13B
when I start I shall of course get a thread going with progress, I hope it will be of interest
thanks for the welcome
Simon

Re: just seen this...
Hi Simon,
welcome to the fb forum....your car definitely is worth saving, there are only a handful of series 1 cars left now... it might be worth trying Tim @ RXMotors for some bumpers, he has a load of 1st gen spares.
If you're going to rebuild your 13b, Exile Rotorsport is the place to get the right advice...

We love restoration threads here on the fb forum so please start one on your car.
Look forward to seeing the rebuild!
cheers,
Ian
