It should'nt take him that long to find the dedicated fb forum.

Morning all,

My name is Simon and Yes its true I own GTB 744V, the white one at the end of this thread. Well the white and orange one there is a lot of rust but from what I can tell relatively solid so I am diving in at the deep end for my first rotary project. Its been interesting reading your thoughts on the project. When I first got the car I was confused as it didn't have the metal bumpers I had read about but now it becomes clear. I shall begin hunting down the correct bumpers and trying to get the car back to original as far as practicable, but thinking about respraying the car in mazda blue as I am not such a fan of white.
However first things first is a complete strip down and rebuild including the engine which is a 13B when I start I shall of course get a thread going with progress, I hope it will be of interest

Hi Simon,
welcome to the fb forum....your car definitely is worth saving, there are only a handful of series 1 cars left now... it might be worth trying Tim @ RXMotors for some bumpers, he has a load of 1st gen spares.

If you're going to rebuild your 13b, Exile Rotorsport is the place to get the right advice...

Wow thanks for the help already Ian it is definatly keeping me motivated. I am going to email Tim when I get chance and hopefully will get the engine out of my car by the end of the month to have a look over her and start the project proper
