I've used a piston compression tester before, as long as you can hold the reset button it gives you a bounce reading that you can use. Then as long as there similar bounces let the tester take a highest compression reading as aguide.

Obviously not as accurate, but showed my fc's compression to be good, and it performed faultlessly for 3 years after that.

So it is some use :)

This week I've got my FB tucked away till funds allow a new mot and welding next year:(

Paid for some of these :mrgreen:. Rears will be getting tested by a few people first. Hopefully finalised and sent to me around February :D
