I hope some day I’ll be able to get my 84 1/2 looking like it just came off the showroom floor again.
Great job
Today the elford rear spoiler arrived, thanks to Keith and the forum members here. You all tried to help to make me happy. Thanks 0-0
Cutter, your post let me remember as i saw my first elford wing in 1990 in Haddenham.

You can see an elford wing stored for over 35 years never fitted on a car and never painted. You can also see a withe coat to protect the fiberglas and no hole for the radio antenna was bored. My hole on the bodyshell was closed i didn´t need the antenna.

Surprised how good the quality is and the 3 hole on the top are exactly in the same position as on the rubber wing. The hole in the middle are big enough for M5 screws. All other hole are with M6 so you can fix a screw from inside the bodyshell into the wing.I think about paint the wing black matt. Any thoughts?

Hi Spirit,

You have one of the smartest FB's around.
If I was you I would paint it the same metallic grey colour, but i am sure that it will look tasteful whatever you choose

Thanks Ian.
About position number 6:
The antenna hole will be closed on my car, so a water tight seal is requierd around serial, but i didn't recess leaving drain clear.

For all: The painter will paint it the same black like the window trim, door hings and door frame. Also the dark rear glases shows a black colour cheme.
Black matt will be shit to repair! I will get the spoiler next week so i can visit the us car gathering on friday evening. Hope all goes well.
