Re: 84GSLSE 13BREW Swap build
I spoke to early.. it failed.. sections started peeling and now I dont feel confident or want to risk running it..
So I am going to try again with the better tank thats is in the car currently.. but I will try electrolysis first, then go thru the por15kit.. I watched Aaroncakes video and after I realized it failed cause I rushed it...

Ahh yeah. POR15 is very specific about how it needs to be done for it to work properly aye. Fingers crossed this next attempt works out

Re: 84GSLSE 13BREW Swap build
Tank attempt 2.. changed the pot design... I made a test box to test the magnifier I got as my eyes suck short distance now being mid 40...
It worked.. I could see the puddle.. so I purged the tank and welded.. let it sit for 4plus hrs.. not one weep or drip...
Also patched the holes on my exhaust manifold as I am moving the wastegate outlets more inline with the exhaust outlets...

Should be good having a drain plug, getting out the mud was building in that sump!

Re: 84GSLSE 13BREW Swap build
trying to get done for my first car show on June 14th... currently working on the exhaust manifold modifications - cut the existing wastegate pipes off and am repositioning them in a more direct flow with the exhaust ports to try to eliminate some boost creep we were getting on the last motor..
PIA.. hahaha
Water-Meth setup should arrive today so then I have to install that as well...
