They’ll be harder on the housings though.

But you can still get early housings unlike the carbon seals.
do they need to be 1 piece because of the bridge?
Thanks Tool and yes as Ian has asked do I need 1 piece with a full bridge and opened exhaust ports ??

Depends on how aggressive the bridge is.

Have you got angle cuts in the housings on both primary and secondary?

The assist piece won’t like running over the cut out in the housing.
Back in the UK for the summer, maybe longer......

No only one side, Think I'll stick to one piece though.
Thanks Andy.

Attention:

Springs for carbon and steal seals are different looks like you have to change the springs when you go for steal seals.

You getting on ok with the rebuild?

Just read about the seals on the last few pages, scary the problems from carbon seals, hopefully mine are ok!

If you can’t replace with carbons why not consider ceramics? Purely cost?

Also those facet pumps don’t deliver much fuel do they? I’ve often heard them being inadequate on a rotary.

Hi Keith - I'm dave, the chap who James bought the car from originally. I'm really glad to see she's being looked after so well! I take it you're not considering selling at any time soon?
